A Legacy of Excellence: Passing the Torch

Bridgeway Financial Consulting & Tax Services is more than a business; it’s a legacy built on over three decades of expertise, mentorship, and a dedication to impeccable service. From its origins as the Accounting Center and Tax Services (ACTS) to its transformation into Bridgeway, this is a story of growth, tradition, and innovation.

Honoring Tim Pinkleman’s Legacy

Tim Pinkleman’s career in accounting is a testament to dedication and expertise. A Northwest Ohio native and proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, Tim laid the groundwork for his success at the University of Toledo, earning a Finance degree, a Master’s in Accountancy in 1981, and his CPA designation in 1985.

Tim began his career at Ernst & Young on the Audit & Consulting staff, later expanding his expertise into employee benefits and small business management. In 2004, Tim’s passion for public accounting led him to purchase ACTS, where he built a thriving practice rooted in strong client relationships and impeccable service.

The Transition to Bridgeway

In 2021, Connor Hutchison joined ACTS, bringing enthusiasm and a hunger to learn. Under Tim’s mentorship, Connor gained invaluable knowledge, though he had no idea he was being prepared to carry the practice into the future. What started as a professional relationship grew into a partnership built on trust and shared values.

Today, Bridgeway reflects the best of both worlds: the experience and wisdom of its past, and the forward-thinking approach that Connor brings as a licensed financial planner.

Outside the office, Tim enjoys life with his wife of over 40 years, Janet, and their two daughters. At their family lake house, he shares his passion for water skiing, teaching friends and family of all ages to glide across the water.
